To Volunteer with Children or Youth

Our Safe Sanctuary Policy was developed in 2006 under the guidelines of our denomination, to reduce the risk of abuse (physical or sexual) of any young person involved in our ministries and programs as well as to protect our adult volunteers.  (Read more about Safe Sanctuary policies on the United Methodist General Board of Disicpleship website.)
To be in adherence with our Safe Sanctuary Policy, all adults who wish to work with children and/or youth are required to complete a volunteer application and agree in writing to a background check, paid for by the church and administered by Lexis Nexus via contract with our church insurance company, Church Mutual, and under the encouragement of our Tennessee Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Please contact the pastor for an application and for further information.
